Story Stretcher Time
“Read me a story and I’ll tell you one, too”, rings out loud and clear as our preschoolers gather together to experience a selection of children’s literature utilizing all five senses. Language and literacy skills developed
through the Story Stretchers Program in which stories are told, illustrated, dictated, dramatized, and retold by our eager learners following their teachers lead. Inventive writing and spelling is encouraged as the children explore the alphabet and its sounds.

Mathematics
Minnieland believes that children learn best in hands –on activities and experiences. Minnieland has brought together a variety of familiar materials gathered from a child’s world, which, because they are real, engage a child’s senses. This motivates him or her to learn and provides the tools for exploration and problem solving. The children have fun playing with shapes, blocks, cubes, buttons, tiles and jewels.
And in the process math concepts are taught and caught!
