What’s the best way to teach your child the alphabet? Start with your child’s name.
Children are naturally interested in the letters that make up their name. If shown, they will learn these letters and begin to write them long before they learn any of the other letters.
From there, show them the letters in the names of people or pets important to them.
Letter learning becomes meaningful and proceeds quickly if approached this way.
