I am Emily Sweeney, and I would like to introduce myself as your Director. I have 25 years of experience in the field of Early Childhood Education. I am from Dumfries, Virginia, but I reside in Martinsburg, West Virginia. My hobbies are cooking and listening to music. I have two brothers and one sister, and I am the youngest of four.
My vocation to work with children started with my Mom, who always brought me when she worked for the Minnieland Before and After School Program for Prince William County. I loved being around the kids from a young age, so I joined the company as a teacher’s aide and later became a teacher. I am proud to say I’ve stayed for 25 years!
I am motivated by ensuring the children are in a safe, fun, loved, and learning environment.
